Sharpie Showcase “Uncapped Gallery”

This bold user-generated image gallery for Sharpie powered by Votigo really embodies everything great about the social web, especially for a consumer brand.  It encourages people from around the world to show off their artistic creations they’ve made with Sharpie pens and engage directly with the brand and other participants.  The gallery includes everything from a cool retro shoe design to an interesting original work of art.  Votigo’s social media platform powers the user registration and allows users to upload, browse, rate, comment, and easily share content with friends on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, and more.  There’s also a celebrity gallery and artwork from Sharpie employees.

The gallery is being supported by an online, print, and TV campaign lead by Draftfcb in Chicago.  Votigo is proud to be part of such a creative and forward-thinking online strategy where community and social media are being used in a smart and effective way.

All of the great user-generated content from the “Write Out Loud with Sharpie and Win!” contest (also powered by Votigo) was carried over to the gallery as well so users could continue to enjoy that art work even after the contest had ended.

The Summer Vacation Photo Contest

We’ve launched another UGC contest for The E85 Flex-Fuel Challenge in partnership with Broadhead+Co and the Renewable Fuels Association. This time it’s a photo contest calling for great summer vacation photos.  The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 fuel card.  Photo contests are an excellent way to encourage user participation and spread your message.

Prizes

  • Grand Prize = $1,000 fuel card
  • Most Voted Award = $100 fuel card
  • Four (4) weekly drawings for voting = $100 fuel cards
    Every voter is automatically entered into a weekly drawing with every vote.
