Facebook Photo Contest - Everlast

Everlast wants to know “What Do You Fight For?”.  They are using our fully branded, stand-alone Facebook Photo Contest Application that allows Facebook users to upload a video or use their webcam, upload a photo from their computer or import one from their Facebook photo albums, or simply write a story.  Once entries are approved by Everlast users are able to rate the contest entries on a scale from 1 to 5.  A panel of judges will select the winner based user voting and relevance to the theme of the contest.

Everlast is also donating $1 for each story to the Dr. Theodore A. Atlas Foundation.  Users can also browse a celebrity gallery where they can view videos and leave comments.

Kmart & Iron Man 2 ‘Suit Up’ Photo Contest

Kmart and Iron Man 2 have teamed up to see who can “Suit Up” in the best Iron Man suit.  The winner will get a trip to London and go to the movie set for Captain America.

Iron Man knows it’s the person that makes the suit. Construct your own Iron Man suit and share it with your friends for a chance to win!

Our campaigns run on Facebook, Twitter and stand-alone websites. Votigo works with leading brands and agencies including Coca-Cola, Southwest Airlines, Sharpie, Kohl’s, Victoria’s Secret PINK, DRAFT FCB, Maddock Douglas and Resource Interactive.

About the Position:
Votigo is looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A desire to make clients happy is a must. This role is part Project Manager and part Account Manager.

Candidates must have a “get-it-done at any cost” attitude and strong communication and organization skills. Understanding of digital media and the social space is a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Make our clients happy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with clients regarding the project status.

  • Work with our Development Team to ensure projects are launched flawlessly, on time and clients are thrilled.
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Compile reports analyzing the success of projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience interacting with clients and a passion for client satisfaction.
  • Proven track record of project or account management.
  • A passion for social media and an understanding of the social space is a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • 2-4 years work experience recommended.
  • Interactive agency experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Facebook Contest Application for YoBaby

If you love babies you’ve gotta check out the new Facebook Photo & Video Contest Application we launched for Stonyfield YoBaby Yogurt. The Facebook Contest Application is added as a Tab to the Brand Page where users can “Like” the brand, enter the contest by selecting a photo or video from the computer or importing a photo from their Facebook photo ablum, or by using the integrated video webcam feature. Great use of our Flash Contest Widget

Natrapel has launched the “Bug-Free Photo contest” using our Flash Contest Widget solution.  They’ve done a great job of design the contest landing page to incorporate the widget and provide a seamless user experience.  The widget itself can be grabbed and shared on any site or blog that allows a flash embed.   This is the actual working widget.  Click the “ENTER” or “SHARE” tab below to try it out.

Facebook Promotion Guidelines

Toshiba Laptops and Simmons Bedding Company both know how to avoid the Facebook Promotion Guidelines and still get all the benefit of the Facebook Fan Base and viral features.

For Toshiba Laptops, and their PR company Access Communications, Votigo created a Facebook Page Tab (application) that requires users to “Like” the Toshiba Laptops US Facebook Page in order to Enter or Vote in the “Quest of the Oldest Toshiba Laptop” commemorating their 25 birthday of the laptop.

Simmons Bedding Company is celebrating 85 years of better sleep with its new Beautyrest mattress and 85 days of Trivia sweepstakes.  Votigo created a Facebook Tab for the promotion that requires users to “Like” the Simmons Bedding Company Facebook Page before they can proceed to the Sweepstakes Microsite where users asked a multiple choice question about different Simmons trivia.  There is a 60-second time which makes it much more like a game.

The sweepstakes registration form as the Facebook “Like” button integrated into it for a great way to build the Simmons Facebook Fan base.

One of the great benefits to running the promotion in a Microsite off of Facebook is that there is no Facebook approval or media buy required.  Brands can still market the promotion as a Tab on their Facebook Page and as long as all the user interaction and data collection happens off Facebook they are not bound to the Facebook Promotion Guidelines.
