He is an academic by day, teaching chemistry at Western Carolina University, and a handy-man by night. We bought a home that was in need of repair and he has handled every challenge with grace and skill. In addition to his brains and brawn, Jon is a fabulous cook, the best organizer I know, and an at home car mechanic. Surprisingly, his talents don't end there.
