What photoshop do you use and what method did you use to keep the lines? GREAT shot by the way :)
Thanks! I use Photoshop CS, I'll upgrade to CS3 asap now that it's out. I used a channel mixer layer to desaturate then masked what I wanted in color, the lines and the mirror.
Great use of selective color! Leaving the yellow lines really helps tie into the colors of the mountains in the mirror. Very cool!
To have a great depth of focus like this you need to use a relatively high f-ratio number. If you have aperture priority mode on your camera, set the aperture to something like f/16. If you wanted just the foreground clear and everything else blurred, you would do the opposite, use small f stops.
