Thanks! I use Photoshop CS, I'll upgrade to CS3 asap now that it's out. I used a channel mixer layer to desaturate then masked what I wanted in color, the lines and the mirror.
To have a great depth of focus like this you need to use a relatively high f-ratio number. If you have aperture priority mode on your camera, set the aperture to something like f/16. If you wanted just the foreground clear and everything else blurred, you would do the opposite, use small f stops.
