About the Position:
Votigo is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in social and/or digital media sales and a passion for social media marketing and strategy. He/she will be reaching out directly to leading worldwide brands and agencies. The sales approach is consultative as you build relationships and pro-actively drive revenue and deliver solutions that meet and exceed our clients' needs. You must be results-driven, enjoy personal interaction and relationships, have strong analytical, creative and negotiation skills while being able to manage multiple projects and agendas. The Sales Executive is expected to understand (and be able to articulate) Votigo's social media marketing and promotions products, services and value proposition, and truly enjoy doing so! Responsibilities:

  • Identify and close Social Media, Brand, Digital Media professionals focused on Social Media marketing, networking and strategy
  • Outbound cold calling and emailing
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts
  • Manage accounts effectively in order to drive recurring revenue and increase the level of participation by clients
  • Understand Social Media and Votigo technology, and then articulate how Votigo capabilities meet stated client needs
  • This position is based in Boulder, CO with some travel required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, including meaningful digital experience. Social Media, Promotions, or SAAS sales a plus.
  • Prior experience working for an ad agency or SAAS company a plus
  • Strong contacts with consumer product marketers, ad/digital agencies, PR firms, brands
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery (at a 6-figure level)
  • Strong references are a plus!
  • Solid Interpersonal skills, good on the phone, excellent verbal and written communication skills; ideal candidates will be comfortable interacting at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team
  • 4-year Bachelor degree required
