Neiman Marcus wanted to engage their fans and leverage the popularity of photo sharing sites to create a unique promotion highlighting Louboutin's 20th anniversary. Neiman Marcus wanted to integrate emerging platforms and be at the forefront of innovation, with a promotion unlike anything that had been done before.
Votigo created a groundbreaking crossplatform social sweepstakes that incorporated Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, yFrog and Twitpic. Fans submitted photos from photosharing sites via Twitter, or directly through Instagram by tagging the photo with the campaign hashtag. Entries had to reference @NeimanMarcus and @LouboutinWorld to be entered in the sweepstakes. An iframe displayed the live feed of all entry photos on a Facebook tab and on the Neiman Marcus blog.
